Jerry LaBoda General These are not Chessie cars. While built from a Budd design the rooves are too high for an American Budd car. Likely built by Mafersa of Brazil, a Budd Company licensee. 2/16/2010 2:09:35 AM
Adam Auxier General These are indeed Budd cars built for C&O, they toured as part of the Chessie train, the train was subsequently cancelled and the cars were sold by Budd to Argentina. I have more photos to post. The cars still retain their American knuckle couplers and full width diaphrams. 2/16/2010 12:20:17 PM
